DAY 1: Arrival at Victoria Falls
Take a mid-morning flight from Johannesburg Airport, where you will be served a small meal. A guide will pick you up from Victoria Falls Airport and transport you to the lodge, where the friendly staff will greet you. You can unpack, rest, and enjoy the lodge’s facilities. Enjoy a sunset river trip on the gorgeous Zambezi River in the late afternoon.
Day:2 Victoria Falls
Enjoy a guided wildlife drive in the Zambezi National Park early (departing at 6:00 am). Elephants, lions, buffalo, leopards, zebras, giraffes, kudu, and many other animals can be found here. The lodge will offer breakfast.
At 10:00 am, you will be transferred to Victoria Falls town. The day will begin with a guided tour of Victoria Falls, where, during the rainy season, more than 500 million cubic meters of water drop every minute over the brink, across a breadth of about two kilometres, into a gorge over a hundred meters below.
You can explore, participate in various off-site activities, or visit historical sites, art galleries, and curio markets. You can either have lunch with the guide at the lodge and rest before your afternoon activities, or you can have lunch at the gorgeous and historically significant Victoria Falls Hotel (for your account).
Additional activities readily available on your account include:
Flight of Angels: $175 per person, 15-minute helicopter tour above the falls with breathtaking views
• Elephant Back Safari ($150 per person)
• Lion Pride Encounter and Walk with Lion ($150 per person)
For the most daring, various adrenaline activities such as gorge swinging, bridge swinging, and bungee jumping are available.
If you have chosen to eat lunch in the village, depart at 3:00 pm from Victoria Falls Town and return to the lodge for a guided sunset river cruise (departing at 4:30 pm). Alternatively, unwind and gaze out the window at a stunning African sunset.
