4 Days Victoria Falls & Chobe Safari

4 Days Victoria Falls & Chobe Explorer
This safari combines the beautiful scenery and wildlife of Zimbabwe and Botswana. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, featuring amazing views that are virtually impossible to explain. While at Victoria Falls, you will enjoy a Zambezi Sunset Cruise and a guided tour of Victoria Falls. On game drives and a Chobe River boat cruise, you’ll see Botswana’s Chobe National Park’s vast and stunning array of wildlife.
Day 1 Arrival in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe – Zambezi Sunset Cruise
This safari begins in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, where you will be met by one of our representatives. The first night of your safari is spent in Victoria Falls. Today’s highlight is a Zambezi Sunset Cruise, which provides a unique and personal view of the magnificent Zambezi River. You will be picked up from your hotel in the afternoon and transported to the dock to board your boat. Enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks as you set sail on one of the continent’s most famous rivers. From the boat, you can see hippos, crocodiles, and, perhaps, elephants on the riverbanks and the many birds that typically skim above water as the sun sets behind the African horizon.
On this large body of water, there are excellent photo opportunities to capture the gentle glow of the African Sunset.
Days: Victoria Falls Guided Tour – Cross into Botswana – Chobe River Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you’ll have a guided tour of Victoria Falls, the world’s most immense sheet of cascading water. You’ll visit the Victoria Falls rainforest to see the spectacular plants and birds that call this one-of-a-kind rainforest home, created by the ongoing spray of thundering falls falling on the surrounding area. As you approach the falls’ edge, you will continue to explore the gorge through various viewpoints while being showered by the falls’ spray.

After that, you will depart Zimbabwe and go to Botswana, where you’ll stay two nights in a comfortable lodge or guesthouse. Today’s highlight is a boat cruise on the Chobe River, which will allow you to see the animals of Chobe National Park from a different perspective. Hippos, crocodiles, and a dizzying assortment of aquatic fowl may be seen up close and personal.
Day 3 Exploring Chobe National Park
You will wake up today for a light breakfast before heading to Chobe National Park for a morning wildlife drive. On Botswana’s far northeastern border with Namibia, Chobe National Park is one of Africa’s primary wildlife sites. Chobe National Park, with an area of 11,900 square kilometres, is home to diverse habitats and unspoiled landscapes like savanna plains, rivers, swamps, and scrub. When the dry season arrives, it becomes the ultimate shelter for enormous herds of elephants, with up to 120,000 animals relying on the Chobe River’s life-sustaining rivers.
Buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, and the rare puku, roan, and sable antelopes are among the other resident game species. These are usually pursued by the Chobe’s notoriously bold lions, leopards, and cheetahs. You’ll return to your lodge for lunch around noon. In the afternoon, go on another wildlife drive in Chobe National Park before returning to your lodge soon before sunset.

Day 4 Departure to Kasane (or Victoria Falls)
Early in the morning, depart for Chobe National Park for your final safari drive. After today’s game drive, you’ll return to your lodge around mid-morning. Your safari will conclude at the Kasane Lodge, where you will be dropped off. We can also drop you off at Kasane Airport in preparation for your next flight.
