5 Days Botswana Luxury Safari

5 Days of Botswana Luxurious Safari: Chobe National Park and the Okavango Delta are two of the best safari destinations in Botswana. You’ll see elephant herds and Cape buffalo drinking at the Chobe Riverfront on your five-day wildlife tour.
In the Moremi Game Reserve, big cats can be observed roaming amid the streams of the Xakanaxa Lagoon.

Botswana’s wildlife safaris rank among the best in Africa: the vast reserves usually remain unfenced, which allows animals to roam between them freely; many sections are privately owned, ensuring truly unique nature safaris; and the Okavango Delta, at their heart, is one of the world’s most stunning settings.

A safari holiday in Botswana is an exciting experience that involves sleeping in luxury lodges and exclusivity, depending on the animals you seek. You’ll likely see a few other people while watching lions pursue their prey or taking a gorgeous mokoro ride through small, reed-lined canals. The birdlife in this area is often spectacular, and a wildlife safari seldom disappoints.

Detailed Itinerary for 5 Days Botswana Luxury Safari.

Day 1: Arrival in Kasane, followed by a transfer to Chobe National Park

You’ll arrive at Kasane Airport in Botswana and be taken to Chobe Wildlife Lodge, the only permanent game lodge in the world-renowned Chobe National Park. During the dry season, the park is known for the large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo that gather along the Chobe Riverfront. In the woodlands and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh, lions, antelopes, and hippos can be observed. Savuti Marsh also attracts a variety of birds as well as wandering zebras to its floodable grasslands.

Morning and evening game drives, boat cruises, and boat safaris are among the activities available at Chobe Wildlife Lodge. You may unwind by the pool or be pampered at the in-lodge spa throughout the day.

Day 3-4: Transfer to Okavango Delta and wildlife viewing.

Today, you will take a shared road trip back to Kasane Airport. After that, you’ll board a small plane for approximately an hour to Xakanaxa Airstrip, from where you’ll transfer to Camp Moremi. Camp Moremi is located on the Xakanaxa Lagoon’s boundary in Botswana’s renowned Moremi Game Reserve. It is a popular destination for visitors looking for an ideal spot for viewing wildlife.

There are daily morning and evening wildlife drives, as well as boat excursions, available. Look for leopards sleeping on tree branches, elephant herds drinking near the water’s edge, and lions hiding in the long grass. Impala, kudu, and waterbuck inhabit the marshes of Moremi Game Reserve. You’ll also observe the diverse bird species that call the Okavango Delta home, including the beautiful fish eagle, the colorful malachite kingfisher, and maybe even a rare Pel’s fishing owl.

Day 5: Return to Maun and depart.

Your 5-day Botswana luxury safari adventure has unfortunately come to an end. You’ll leave Camp Moremi this morning and fly for 25 minutes to Maun Airport, where you’ll arrive in plenty of time for your next flight. The tour has come to an end.
